It seems our Fatigue Facts Subscribers are falling a bit short of the recommended 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Most of you trying to function on less than 7 hours of sleep, and 10.7% are trying to do it with less than 5! What surprised us, is that on average, more Shift-Workers are getting the right amount of night time sleep than Fatigue Managers! However, you will notice in the charts below that these numbers change quite significantly (for the worse) when Shift-Workers have to sleep during daytime hours.
For those of you getting the recommended amount - Bravo! For those of you having trouble getting 7-8 hours see what you can do to make more time for sleep.... It may just keep you alive longer.
Results are in from our first sleep survey and they actually surprised us!
