  1. Just a week ago, I have been getting up still feeling tired, I tried
    Shiatsu and felt better. Yet I still look tired, dark circles under my eyes.
    Should I try cucumbers on my eyes? I am 50 and perimenopausal. Exercise 3-4
    times 30min duration.
    I feel I need a vacation at the end of the day.

    • It must be challenging feeling so fatigued at the end of the day. I am sure
      it makes it very difficult for you to feel motivated to do anything after
      work. At your stage in life there are many things to consider but I don’t
      think that cucumbers will fix everything, although it might be a great way
      to relax for a bit everyday. One of the things I would consider is hormonal
      changes. Very often these changes can create new sleep patterns. The trick
      here is to figure out what your new sleep pattern is. I would gladly coach
      you through this process via e-mail or telephone or if you are in the Ottawa
      area, in person.

      Exercise is great for sleep providing the timing is bang-on. If not, it can
      disturb your core body temperature which can disrupt your sleep. Make sure
      you are finished exercising 3-4 hours before bed time.
